Objective
The purpose of this policy is to outline the expectations and regulations regarding employee conduct, attendance, punctuality, probationary employment, paid leave, and holidays at Dexnine Private Limited. This policy aims to ensure a professional and productive work environment.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees of Dexnine Private Limited, including full-time and work-from-home employees.

Attendance Tracking
Employees are required to use the designated attendance system( slack or whatsapp check-in chat group) to record their daily presence. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure their attendance is accurately logged.
Reporting Absences
Planned Absences: Employees must inform their supervisor and HR at least one day in advance for planned absences.
Unplanned Absences: In case of illness or emergencies, employees must notify their supervisor and HR as soon as possible, preferably before the start of the workday.
Work Hours and Check-In
Standard Work Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Sunday through Friday.
Grace Period: Employees are allowed a grace period of 10 minutes. Any check-in after 9:40 AM will be considered late.
Late Arrival Policy:
10-20 Minutes Late: 20% deduction from the daily wage.
20-50 Minutes Late: 30% deduction from the daily wage.
More than 50 Minutes Late: 50% deduction from the daily wage or marked as a half-day leave.
Probation Period Employees
Duration: The probation period typically lasts for three to six months, during which the employee’s performance and suitability for the role will be evaluated
Attendance Expectations: Probationary employees are expected to adhere strictly to the attendance and punctuality policy. Consistent lateness or absences may result in the extension of the probation period or termination of employment. The probation employees aren’t subjected to paid leaves
Performance Evaluation: Attendance and punctuality will be key factors in evaluating the performance of probationary employees. Regular feedback will be provided, and any concerns regarding attendance must be promptly addressed.
Paid Leave and Holidays
Annual Leave for Full-Time Employees:
Full-time employees are entitled to 21 days of paid annual leave per year. These leaves can be availed with prior approval from the supervisor and HR department.
Paid Leave for Work-from-Home Employees:
Employees working from home are entitled to [14] days of paid leave per year. The same procedures for requesting leave apply.
Maternity/Paternity Leave:
Married female employees are entitled to 20 to 24 weeks maternity leave, whereas married male employees are entitled to 12 to 15 weeks paternity leave.
Holiday Observance:
Holidays on major Nepalese and festival holidays, including but not limited to Dashain, Tihar, and Holi. A list of observed holidays will be provided at the beginning of each calendar year.
Consequences of Repeated Lateness
More than 36 hours a week of late check-ins are subjected to 20% deduction in salary along with disciplinary action, including but not limited to verbal or written warnings, and may impact performance evaluations.
Exceptions and Considerations
Exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or transportation issues, may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Employees are encouraged to communicate such situations promptly.
Policy Review and Amendments
Dexnine Pvt. Ltd reserves the right to review and amend this policy at its discretion. Employees will be notified of any changes in writing or via the company’s communication channels.
